Our second stay at this beautiful cottage, and it was as perfect as the first. A beautiful cottage overlooking the Slad valley, with great kitchen and lounge and more enough space for the 6 of us. The woodbirner was great for the November weekend we were there, esp after a cold walk! Debra was friendly, communicative and helpful throughout. Thank you again!
A lovely cottage, with a sunning view. The cottage was homely, with enough parking for 2 vehicles. Very clean and tidy, with great period features that added to its charm! Shops were a small drive away, and it was a short drive away to the main roads in the Cotswolds, to connect to the other areas of interest. The host was very responsive, and always ready to help!
One of our Fave B&B's!Clearly loved, looked after house. We had a lovely weekend with a 2 year old and a whippet. No notes :))
Lovely cottage in a lovely spot yet near enough to Stroud with its railway station, shops, and great Saturday street market. In fact, there's a bus into Stroud which we used. The Woolpack with its great food is an easy walk away. The cottage is exactly as described. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Outside seating area is spacious with a great view. Road side parking can accommodate 3 medium sized cars. There is noise from passing traffic, but we expected that, and it wasn't a problem for us.

This is fantastic cottage. Really beautiful and has very comfortable beds. Our family had a wonderful stay here. Great kitchen. Handy to have a washing machine and dryer. Nice treats on arrival. Friendly helpful host.
Everything here at the cottage exceeds expectations and it is exactly what I was looking for. We would to book again for next year! we truly appreciate the attention to details in the cottage.
We all had a perfect little holiday and we were all so impressed how the house had everything we could possibly need, particularly appreciated was the thoughtful selection of kitchen utensils. I was obsessed with the everhot oven! It gave such a warm comfort to the kitchen and we spent much time at the dining table together. As it was always on and toasty, We just couldn’t stop cooking! We put it through its paces, butternut squash and ham risotto, braised cabbage with bacon, scrambled eggs, toasted foraged beech nuts, stuffing cheese and potato ‘not sausage rolls’, apple and pear turnovers….and absolutely show stopping crispy fluffy roast potatoes. Little touches everywhere were so special. Thank you for the wine and choccies! We all had a good chuckle at the cure embroidery on the sofa cushions, “we’ve gone on holiday by mistake” nestled amongst the dreamy Laurie Lee quotes. Everyone reported excellent sleep in comfy beds. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Lovely cottage and awesome host. She went out of her way to answer any questions we had as well as assist us with anything we needed. Awesome walking trails around and just an all around super comfortable place to stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful place. Definitely recommend it!
A beautiful cottage in a lovely cotswold village off the beaten track - we really enjoyed the surroundings and the cottage itself. We walked straight out of the house into the countryside and ended up in the fab pub “The Woolpack” which Laurie Lee used to frequent.

Fantastic cottage. Photos don’t do it justice. It has been beautifully decorated and restored. So comfortable! Debra was great, provided us with a great info pack of the area. She was quick to respond to any questions I had. We spent the entire time just eating in the garden and going for walks. Absolute heaven.
